More likely on the last day they will be selling for something like 0.50 until nothing is left.

My local store at Metropolis still has a lot of foot traffic, they've been getting stock from other closed down stores. In fact, one of the cashiers said they might open til end of April...but because of that, they've been slower at the price drops. It's at 60% off right now, where a store 30 mins away at Coquitlam Centre mall is on their last legs with barely any stock w/ 70-80% off.

It's going to be funny seeing which movies get the dubious honour of still being on the shelf for their last day! Hahaha. Still alot of copies of Central Intelligence and Ride Along 2 here

My UV & iTunes digital copies available for trade

Entertainment Set-up:

BD Player - Panasonic DMP-BD75
Audio - Sony Home Theatre STR-KS2300

Picked up the first season of Ballers for $15...not a bad deal

The HMV in Scarborough Town Center is very busy with people but the selection is picked DRY. Lots of copies of the same movie (Transporter, Twilight, Planet of the Apes, etc.) are all that remiains now

The HMV nearby me is now closed. They topped out at 60% off DVDs/BDs in the last week before shutting it down.

According to the HMV website all stores will close by April 14 (or sooner)

Really sad to see the store go....I just wish that any future phyical media stores will learn from HMV's mistakes

Well, yesterday was the last day. Did anyone make it out in the final days leading up to the closing?

I went out last week to the Yonge Dundas store in Toronto. Not much left except their usual common movie titles you can get anywhere else.
