polk audio tsi300 with a free polk psw111b sub or monitor audio mr4 speakers both are priced at around 500.00

Like Pentatonic said you should listen them first to see if you like it . But IMHO $500 with sub ... it's not a big deal you should look at Newegg or accessories4Less for better deals and if you still decide going with Polk look at some deals for the Monitor 60/70 or the RTi Line like the A5 .

I agree with my co-fellas Montrealers here, not because they are Montrealers but because honestly you have to go with what your ears tells you if you can audition.
