Here's an idea I can share on the casting (my idea)-
They can cast one or both of the two brilliant British actors working in the Movie industry now-
Tom Hiddleston(as a nerdy scientist), and Michael Fassbender(as the no-nonsense/rough friend of Hiddleston's character).
They can re-create a sort of nice duo on screen, polar contrasts; altercations, but in the end great friends!
The movie would greatly benefit from their casting.

Another official news I heard last week that they were thinking of casting
Bryce Dallas Howard- please NO! Spare us! She's not a nice choice for Jurassic!
Totally ruined Kate Brewster in Terminator Salvation, and overdid Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3!
Don't like her acting at all!

I guess he is retired (and in his 90's now) but I would love to see one more scene with Richard Attenborough as Hammond

I would love that too, but I don't know if they'll be able to. I've heard he has some health problems, so who knows if he'd be up for it. Then again, Peter Jackson and Tim Burton go out of their way to get Christopher Lee in their films, his health and age aside, so maybe they can do it here for Richard.

Lord Attenborough is no longer in good health. 2008 was when he took a pretty bad fall. He's in a home now, and, according to his brother, Sir David Attenborough, he's probably not going to make any more films.

The Hammond character was already in a Bad shape in The Lost World JP cameo- So I think its as good a guess as any that he won't return!
Plus Lord Attenborough's health issues- He should not work!
An old man, of his age, taking a fall is a pretty bad thing healthwise!
He needs to rest and be with his family!
I'm sure the new movie can find a way around!

This is from 2008 but...

Quote:
So Laura Dern is in. Sam Neill is out, as is Alessandro Nivola. But what about Dr. Ian Malcolm, Mr. Chaos Theory, the voice of reason himself: Jeff Goldblum? If there’s to be a “Jurassic Park IV,” will he be in it?
After all, his character survived a near-death on Isla Nublar in the first film to make an appearance in the second, and was even referenced in the third, which means … “Who knows?” laughed Goldblum when we caught up with him at the Director's Guild Honors.

“I don’t know about that,” Goldblum said. “I don’t know what the future holds. My plate is full right now [since joining the cast of ‘Law and Order: Criminal Intent’]

But once Goldblum started reminiscing about working with Steven Spielberg, who directed the first two Jurassic Park films, produced the third, and is producing the fourth, the actor relented a bit.

“It’s all coming back to me now,” Goldblum said. “I loved doing the other two, and I loved working with Steven. I had a great time… And ostensibly I have time off [from ‘Law and Order’] and I could do other films. I just did ‘Adam Resurrected’” (more on that film later).
So if Spielberg or fellow “Jurassic Park” producer Frank Marshall were to call Goldblum up and ask him to reprise his role as the quirky mathematician, he’s at least now open to the idea. “Maybe,” he said.

Both Neill and Goldblum are too old to play Heroes now!
They can have cameo parts though!
This is why I suggested Tom Hiddleston and Michael Fassbender
(different characters obviously)!
Besides why those too would even want to go back to those places?

What, Both Ellie and Sarah get kidnapped by Biosyn, and Alan and Ian relents, joins forces and fights off Dinos, all the while racing against time to prevent humanity's extinction???

Wait...
that's a cool idea, a bit Michael Bay-ish though.
