Sweet! Just received my Universal Monsters set today from the Black Friday lightning deal. Total charged on my credit card $41 CAN. No duty!

Better than $120 in Canada and US and also nicer looking box.

They do remove VAT, but they have a hefty flat shipping charge on the first item (like 10 Euro, if I remember); the incremental charge for each next item is very low (like 1 Euro per, maybe), so it pays to order multiple items to spread that shipping charge out.

Ah ha.. Thanks for that.

Hmm. We should set up an "amazon sticky" with these type of information.

I was on Amazon.de trying to buy some blu-rays that were rated FSK 18 but when I go checkout they say that they are unable to ship it to my address. I also tried it with blu-rays that have a lower rating and it will allow me to order them so its just a problem with the blu-rays rated FSK 18. Anyone know if Amazon.de has a rule where they don't ship out FSK 18 rated items internationally?
My Top 5 Movies of All Time:
1. Forrest Gump
2. Back to the Future Part 1 & Back to the Future Part 2
3. Braveheart
4. Halloween (1978)

Don't know of any; might have been due to the sellers they were coming from. Sometimes even when shipping is completed by Amazon, certain sellers won't deliver internationally.

They were sold from Amazon.de. The items won't from third party sellers.

Does it tell you somewhere on the website if an item is shipped by a third party?
