Except for a few shots, the 3D is very flat. I would
recommend renting this first to see if you even like
the movie.
Yeah but...Rebecca DeMornay!

I saw this in 3D OnDemand over a year ago and (aside from DeMornay) I don't remember much about it at all. But it wasn't the worst that I've seen..

I didn't find a discussion for this horror film shot in native 3-D. Rebecca DeMornay -- come on! and Mischa Barton! Perhaps someone who's seen it will comment on the film and the 3-D.

There are 3-D releases in Germany and the U.K.
Check out the existing thread!

This thread didn't turn up in a search. I scanned over a few backpages but evidently not far enough. It isn't listed under the "Forum" link on the film's info pages

http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Apartm...Blu-ray/66047/

http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Apartm...Blu-ray/96680/

So the moderator can merge the two threads, if its important.

go to advanced search and change the search criteria to titles only, that should help. Not trying to lecture you, just trying help you out

It's a shame the basic search can't be better about finding more accurate search results without having to do an advanced search. I know it's there, I often have to use it for what should be an easy search.

Onto topic, this movie was bad. Bad and boring and unlike some lackluster films that can be improved with 3D, I don't feel this film would benefit at all. I remember the film not being scary at all. This is one I would avoid but if you dare, give it a rental before committing to a purchase.

I started this thread years ago, bought it on release, and tonight finally watched it.

Awful film, mediocre 3D.

I bought this recently for 3. Not sure it was worth it. There are some great 3D shots with some generic views of the building or the city... Apart from that the 3D is terrible and the movie sucks to high heaven!!!

This movie is full of inverted stereo shots, horribly-converted shots, CG effects layered improperly with the live action elements in depth, severe retinal rivalry/color mismatch between eyes... terrible 3D and abhorrent film.

Sorry to hear the 3D sounds weak in this film. Thanks for the reviews.

I remember reading somewhere that the director intended those inverted stereo shots. So that they are not "mistakes" but something the director wanted. Like the opening credits which look really weird and hurt ones eyes...
