Does this have a hidden DTS MA track anywhere on the disc or something? The J card that came with my steel states the 7.1 DD TrueHD track, but the back of the J card, it mentions a DTS track.

Condradiction much?

Well, other than the spine slash, my steel is about as perfect as a steelbook can be. No scratches, chips, nicks, dents, etc. Totally perfect prior to the ugly spine slash. I'm not even thinking of exchanging it out, because there'll probably be another/different issue that's worse,.

I'd ask for a replacement. That kind of damage is totally avoidable and ultimately their responsibility. Send it back if you have to, and tell them you want the return postage refunded.
