I hope they re-release Lilo & Stitch without the cheapquel and include the special edition extras this time. Really want the teaser trailers in HD

I like the cover more. Wasn't the mandarin track altered on the former blu-Ray release?

No, the Taiwanese Mandarin dub was not ported over (from the 2 disc DVD) to the 2 film Blu-ray release.

Also, note the case of the 2 Movie Collection of Fantasia and Pocahontas, included most of the DVD extras of BD-Live Virtual Vault.

Yeah, getting my Disney combos mixed up.

Just got this the other day. Never seen the sequel so that's why I went with this set instead of the stand alone of Mulan.

Can somebody provide me with some further information about this release?

I can't locate it on Amazon or anywhere for that matter. Is it a DMC exclusive?

I, too, would love this. It's my favorite Disney non-CGI film.

Thanks hariseldon. And my apologies, I do mean the new edition.

There is no difference besides the cover and lack of sequel. They arrived yesterday from DMC

Well, that's disappointing.

But the Digital HD part is right? The DMR code ports the film to DMA?

I'm kind of surprised they didn't do L&S by itself to begin with and then have a 3 movie pack with the sequels together. Maybe that's what will happen if L&S gets it's own standalone release. I enjoyed the sequels enough to actually watch them sometimes.. with most Disney sequels I kind of just want them to have them.

I went ahead and got the new Mulan and Pocahontas BDs because, even though I will always chose physical media, I'm trying to get my UV collection up and it's cheaper to get the BDs with DC's than it is to actually buy the UV by itself. These new releases make me second guess buying the older Disney movies I have lately because now they could be randomly re-released with DC's.

The only movies I collect digital copies of (iTunes) is Disney because it makes for easy watching for my kids rather than dealing with discs.

Mulan and Pocahontas will not really get watched by them, but my reasoning for getting these is because my Disney 2D Animation collection is chronological and I greatly despise the combo packs. It's part of the reason I got the stand-alone version of The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad over the combo with Fun and Fancy Free. I put up with Fantasia/Fantasia 2000, but only because of the importance of the original in the collection. The Rescuers/Rescuers Down Under pack I have but only because both movies were actually theatrical releases versus DTV cheapuels. I'm thrilled to buy these releases of Mulan and Pocahontas.

Hoping for standalone releases in the future of:
Lilo & Stitch
The Emperor's New Grove
Brother Bear
Hunchback of Notre Dame
Atlantis: The Lost Empire
The Fox and the Hound
Fantastia
Fantasia 2000
The Rescuers
The Rescuers Down Under
The Black Couldron
Fun and Fancy Free

I would also love to see standalone releases of Saludos Amigos, The Three Caballeros, Make Mine Music, and Melody Time. If Disney feels these have to be double features though, I would really hope that they do them in the proper chronological order. That's why the Fun and Fancy Free and Ichabod and Mr. Toad set bothers me so much.

Will the standalones hit retail or do I need to snag them off eBay?

I have the 2-fers but I'd have always preferred for the disney films to be in chronological order, and sans DTV sequels, unless they're buried in the special features section and not marketed as such on the packaging (spine, front).

I do not wish to have to the purchase the standalone online. I want to be able to go to stores like Wal-Mart, Target, or Best Buy and purchase it there. When is it estimated to be available on store shelves for sure?
