The Grand Budapest Hotel
the-grand-budapest-hotel-ralph-fiennes.jpg
3.5/5 coming from an Anderson fan. Visually arresting, somewhat slow start, ultimately light-hearted and fun.

Damn. SO good. I should watch that tonight.
"First, a brief preface. Every time I review a film by Jean-Luc Godard, I receive outraged letters from readers who hated it. It is suggested that my reviews and myself join Godard on the trash heap of history; that the customers wuz robbed. A common complaint is that Godard 'made no sense.' Yeah, it was my first time watching it. Really good, and one of Lawrence's best performances.

That was the first thing I had ever seen her in, and I knew right then that I would be seeing an awful lot of her in the future.

I still need to see this yet. I know Target has the blu ray for $5.

I just got done watching this one.

Another weird quirky type film from David O' Russell. Surprised at how many famous people were in this. Including a youngish Ben Stiller. This was another movie i grew up and heard about from seeing the trailers on VHS tapes that I had rented.
Biggest Jen fan! Red Sparrow 3/2/18 in 135 Days - X-Men: Dark Phoenix 11/2/18 in 380 days.

Hoenstly, if you can get it for $5 you'd be totally insane not to.

As much as I love Russell's work, my dislike for Stiller will keep me from ever seeing this.

Easily J-Law's best performances and I loved John Hawkes in that movie. Plus the neo-noir styles worked so freshly with the smaller community setting.

I went to bed while this was just coming on Cinemax. I woke up during the coolest one liner sequence and finished it.

Rambo III - 2/5

"This isn't your war."

"It is now."

These two lines sum up this contrived and trite film.
"Life is pleasant. Death is peaceful. It's the transition that's troublesome."
