Flying Monsters Blu-ray.com review
Just viewed my UK (region B) Blu-ray 3D of this, which I picked up for the bargain price of £5. Here's my take on it......Flying Monsters 3D Gae |

I bought this and Sanctum for £13.38/$21.24 shipped to the US. Watched Sanctum, which had pretty decent 3D but haven't seen this yet. If it's Sir David, then I know I'll enjoy it. The 3D will just be a bonus for me

Just watched the making of feature and it was a real eye-opener into the world of 3D film making. Those cameras are heavy suckers aren't they? It's almost like going back to the pioneering days of film-making with those huge early static cameras. If I'm honest, I'm glad. I hated the way 2D film-making was going with ever faster subliminal editing and shaky camera work. Now, with 3D, the pacing has to be slower again and we can enjoy studying the onscreen images for longer. I believe this allows us to be more reflective and thoughtful when we watch 3D material in a similar way as while watching slower paced Classic Old movies. Personally, I like that trend.

Just got this from amazon UK. Can't get the 3d to work though. Any ideas? I'm playing his in the US on a Samsung blu ray player. Optoma hd3300 projector. It seems the 3d just isn't kicking in for some reason. It plays fine in 2d though. Is this a side by side or top and bottom? That could be my problem.

armandxp...can you play other Blu-ray 3Ds on your system? Is it just this one that doesn't work? I actually ripped my Blu-ray 3D of Flying Monsters using DVD Fab's 3D Blurayripper. You end up with an SBS AVI file then. That might work if all else fails. Gae |

Yeah This is the first one that I can't get to play. I thought it should be field sequential, but wasn't 100% positive. Was wondering if anybody else imported this to the US and had any problems. I didn't like that the cover didn't look the same ad the pic on amazon. I guess it had a sleeve. I guess I'll try someone else's player and see if it works with theirs.

Damn!
I have this and think its great with really nice looking 3D. But I have just realised though I have the region free "National Geo" version which only goes for 40 minutes! Damn you Madman (Aussie distributor)! Feel cheated now and can see myself ordering this now off ebay...for the other 30 minutes!!

This is 7.25 on amazon.co.uk which is about $15 shipped to the US. Is it worth getting at this price?
