Default Songs that you think are awesome that most people have never heard?

What are those rare hard to find tracks that people probably don't know about that you think are awesome?

The genre doesn't matter, any type of song can be mentioned.

Here's a few of my favorites:

Adriano Celentano - Prisencolinensinainciusol
Awesome song by an Italian guy that wanted to make a song that sounded like what English would sound to a foreigner.

Dungeon Family - Crooked Booty
Probably the most insane intro to a song ever sung by Cee-Lo Green.

Texas feat. Method Man - Say What You Want REMIX
Crazy combination remix before the big Mash-up movement.

The Boys - Dial My Heart
Obscure one hit wonder group from the 80's and 90's that was awesome.

Oran "Juice" Jones - The Rain
Best ever ending to a song. The music video is priceless.

Season Of The Witch, off the "Super Session" album, by Mike Bloomfield, Steven Stills, and Al Cooper.
More people have probably heard the version by Donovan, which is ok. He wrote the song and it's on one of his albums too. But the version on the Super Session album is awesome!

In 1972-73 there was an album named "Silver", by a group named Tranquility. I saw them live in Wilmington, NC just before the album came out. I bought the album, and loved every song on it. The younger generation today probably won't like it though. I made a cd from the album, 4-5 yrs. ago. I reduced the cover down to fit the jewel case. Here it is:

Samsung HL61A750 (LED DLP), Onkyo TX-SR805,
Oppo BDP-83 Blu ray, Polk Audio LSi9,
Polk Audio LSiC, Sony SS-MB100H,
Pioneer CS-X500-Q,
SVS PC12-NSD (Sub), Harmony 628,
Pioneer PL-514 turntable

Absolutely! I've never seen the video, but the music is ridiculous. I could only imagine how they played that out in the video. It's one of the few songs of that genre that I have in my playlist.

I really like "40 Dogs" by Bob Schneider. Not sure if that's a song people haven't heard or not.

"Born Again" by Cory Chisel.

"Low Rising" by Swell Season.

My contribution to this thread is going to be a little-known Zeppelin song called "The Girl I Love She Got Long Black Wavy Hair," which was (allegedly) played and recorded only one time, on Chris Grant's Tasty Pop Sundae show on the BBC (in the UK). It was never recorded for any album, and was released only in 1997!

There's a nice Wiki on it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Gir...lack_Wavy_Hair

This is a fantastic song if you like Zepp, and even if you don't but are into that raw, bluesy, early heavy metal sound which I certainly am.

Jason...I've been wanting to jump on some of his stuff for a while now, and every time I go to buy a new vinyl I'm tempted. Your post may have just pushed me into that direction.

It's probably my favorite (I'm a bassist, so perhaps you could imagine why I like that one). That and "The Girl I Love" are phenomenal songs. They're epics!
