I've actually heard good things about Red Sands from horror fans. Will definitely have to look it up.

TRAILER (hbo.com):

http://www.hbo.com/data/content/glob...a/1400294.html

The film is Tapia, an HBO documentary from last December, about the great fighter and tragic figure Johnny Tapia. It's really brilliant, quite moving, and quite sad. Tapia was really one of a kind.
MOST ANTICIPATED: Knight of Cups, Mockingjay2, Mistress America, Carol, Neon Demon, Personal Shopper, Macbeth, The Lobster, Joy, Steve Jobs, Amy, Dark Places, The Assassin, Southpaw

Kim: You see, before he came down here, it never snowed. And afterwards, it did. If he weren't up there now... I don't think it would be snowing. Sometimes you can still catch me dancing in it.

Default Another Earth

I liked a film called "Another Earth." It's a 2011 film about what happens when we find a duplicate Earth and it appears their inhabitants are very much like us. Interesting story about how we choose to deal with events that occur in our lives.

Not sure if most know this but whenever I recommend it, no ones ever seen it.

The Way of The Gun (2000)

Written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie
Starring: Ryan Phillippe, Benicio Del Toro, Juliette Lewis, James Caan, Taye Diggs
Plot: Two criminal drifters without sympathy get more than they bargained for after kidnapping and holding for ransom the surrogate mother of a powerful and shady man.

A really great neo-western, with a couple of really well thought out scenes and realistic shoot-outs and very good acting across the board.

Default About Time

I thought About Time was a really good movie. I had never heard of it up until about a month ago and have watched 4 or 5 times since. There's something about it, not sure what it is....

Default Road Games & The Soldier

Road Games w/ Stacey Keach and Jamie Lee Curtis was a obscure thriller and The Soldier w/ Ken Wahl was an action/adventure movie both worth seeing.

Referring to main audiences, I'm afraid so. Amongst movie geeks, def. not

Hands down masterpiece (also The Proposition imo), both must see.

Ten Seconds To Hell was really good. It takes place in Germany after World War II and is about a bomb disposal team. Jeff Chandler and Jack Palance are really good in it as is the rest of the cast. It was nice to see Palance play a more sympathetic role for a change.
The Ghostbusters earned their Stripes and to relax decided to go play golf, but got locked in the Caddyshack by the Gopher with The Blues Brothers who are hiding from a Dragnet but luckily they all escaped to The Great Outdoors, where they met a ranger who turned out to be The Man Who Knew Too Little because everything he said was Lost In Translation.
