My son has his own laptop now. Before this we had all our itunes accounts on one main computer. My son has his laptop as an authorized computer now.

Should we leave both computers as authorized or just his laptop?

If i'm not mistaken each account can be added to 5 different computers max , he can always authorized or de-authorized the computers as he likes . Connecting the iphone and backup's will work differently .

Almadacr,

I think we will leave both computers authorized for now. I will turn off update by WI-FI from the main computer though.
