Looking for something that would make a good double bill with Brute Corps. Any suggestions?

This is one of those movies that initially eluded my attention, but some of you here were nice enough to set me on the right path. I'm glad that I decided on this particularly blind buy.

Retribution is an oddly good-natured horror film that still does not short change the viewer when it comes to visceral thrills. I was hoping that the movie would end differently than it did, but I think that the ending was best for the story.

Dennis Lipscomb is powerful in the lead role, while Suzanne Snyder and Leslie Wing are both quite gorgeous. The police lieutenant is recognizable, because he is played by Hoyt Axton, who was the father in Gremlins.

Retribution is also a colorful film in terms of visuals. If this movie were remade today, then it would probably have an obtrusively dark camera style with forced post-processing tints and such, and the depression element would likely be run into the ground. I'm glad that this 1980s film keeps things lively, despite the subject matter.
Great take on Retribution, you hit the nail on the head with the description " oddly good-natured horror film"

Just watched Equalizer 2000. Not as good as Wheels of Fire, but still a lot of fun. Slightly better transfer than Wheels.

If you're looking for another Code Red release, Gods Bloody Acre or Trapped. If you got Netflix streaming Id suggest Dirty O'Neill. Shout's Jackson County Jail would work well.

Really appreciate the collection of high quality trailers in HD on the Equalizer 2000 disc. I often enjoy watching a few trailers after the feature. As much as I love Cirio H. Santiago movies The Devastator was never high on my must see list. After seeing a good quality trailer, I might be willing to buy a blue-ray if one is released.

If I might make a suggestion, maybe add a DVD and Blu-ray category to the site.

Thanks for the suggestions!! Probably going to go with Trapped, since I already have a copy of that here. Definitely going to look into the other titles that you mentioned though!

I suggest Cut Throats Nine or Terminal Island, both would accent Brute Corps wonderfully.

Just wanted to say that I watched all 3 of the Roger Corman Post-Nuke and they looked and sounded fantastic. They where really fun flicks.

Great job on them Bill.

Wow, thought there might be more posts in here over the weekend, though it is 4th of July. I'm a tad bummed I missed Redeemer. Wasn't high on my list of wants but the fact that it's so rare and everyone talks it up is making me want it more. I'll be sure to put in an order of 2 or more titles by the end of the day, upcoming birthday presents to myself.

Will Tomboy be back? I just watched it last week on Amazon instant and I liked it enough to buy.
