Well, of course the online retailers are murdering them when their selection is garbage. I actually like to buy from brick-and-mortar stores, but who can find anything in stock anymore? Except at Barnes & Noble, where you have to wait for sales/coupons before anything is even remotely reasonably priced.

And now, they've gone and thrown DVD's and BD's together...and for the life of me, I can't understand the logic behind this. People who've upgraded to BD don't want to have to sift through a ton of DVD's, and those who haven't will obviously have no interest in the BD's...so why put them together? It's asinine. Shopping there has just become more and more inconvenient as the years go by.
i don't think the Best Buy in my town does that

Perhaps it's different in Canada, but down south here, they all do it.

Yes, here in Canada they don't mix the blus and DVDs (and I'm referring to ones I've been to recently in Saskatoon, Regina, Coquitlam and Calgary). But they have definitely scaled back the amount of titles they offer. And it's so bizarre, what they will have. Recently I was in one and amongst the usual uninspiring shelves of recent releases, there was a copy of Samson and Delilah, which I have not seen for sale in any other B&M store I've been to in recent months.
