Why stop at just two Ultra's?

He should have ordered four, which is the optimum number of subs to have in an HT.

Onkyo TX-NR3009 9.2 Network Receiver with Sub EQ HT

This repetitive comment is really starting to sound absurd, especially when it doesn’t apply to a certain size room.

AGREED. WHY NOT JUST BE HAPPY FOR PEOPLE WHEN THEY GET SOMETHING INSTEAD OF SAYING...."WELL, YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS OR THAT"

Thank you all for the kind comments. Sorry about the delayed response, I've had a family issue going on over the last 24 hours. Unfortunately due to this I haven't been able to set them up yet, though a few hours ago I did remove one of them from the box.

Timcat4843, the delivery driver just wheeled them into my place on a trolly.
Setup
Samsung pn59d8000 tv, Sony strda5300es receiver, Emotiva XPA-2 & XPA-5 amps, Dali Concept 10's (fronts), Concept 2's (rears), and Concept centre speakers, 2x SVS PB13-Ultra subs, Oppo bdp-93 blu-ray player (region free), Onkyo c-s5vl sacd player, Sony rdr-hx910 dvd recorder, Xbox 360 250gb slim, PS3 60gb, Cyron Pro lights+htw1000, Samsung s2 1tb hdd, power Monster HDP1000, Logitech Harmony 1100i

OOOOOHHH Man, you are lucky!!!

Over here, the delivery guy just drops it off at the curb.

I didn't have a dolly at the time, so it was some work to get them into the house. I just mainly sled them across the floor while they were in the box.

Look forward to reading your thoughts on how they sound.

Looking at your gallery, are you gonna have to move those bookshelves down to get the second sub woofer to fit, or are you planning to place it elsewhere in your setup?

Serious? It's standard practice here for delivery/courier services to bring items to the door regardless of how heavy they are, that's apart of what you are paying for. I couldn't imagine having to collect deliveries from wherever the driver parks his vehicle and then having to bring the item inside myself, especially with particularly heavy items such as the SVS subs and the fact that I currently live in an apartment.

I've put each of the subs in position where I want them, however I haven't properly set them up yet (I've been preoccupied with an unexpected matter that has popped up over the last few days anyway, which involves legal costs that is going to set me back $2000-$5000, so the other purchases for my HT I was wanting to do over the next couple of months are on hold for now). I ordered a Galaxy SPL meter the other week and I'm waiting for it to be delivered first before I set them up. FedEx actually attempted to deliver it yesterday but I wasn't home, so I'll contact them today and give them a date when they can deliver it. I've put the second sub behind my HT seating, however unlike my Dali sub I've had to side fire it because of it's length, though I think having the driver facing to the left rather at the back of my seating will produce better results anyway. I always thought having the Dali Concept sub behind my seating sounded good, so hopefully the SVS sub will too. Unfortunately there just isn't enough space in my apartment to put the second sub at the front on the right hand side, if I move the shelves over and put it there it would take up half the walk way. Obviously behind my seating isn't likely the most ideal place to put it, but it's only temporary. At some stage over the next few years my fiancée and I will be buying our first home, we are buying everything we want now (which includes HT upgrades) so that when we have a mortgage we can throw as much as we can into it, so we can hopefully have it paid off within 5-10 years, depending on how much we borrow.

sooo. I've been contemplating putting the plus/2 drivers in my pb12 nsd/2....
i contacted SVS and spoke with Ed, and he said the only differences between the plus/2 & the nsd/2 is the drivers, in turn making the bash amp capable of 900watts instead of 700...He said i would only notice a difference at 'ear bleed' levels...
any input????
Also, HOW MUCH BETTER is the pb13 ultra than what i already have???
I'm happy as a pig in s#!t with my nsd/2
