Some people still prefer the bootleg, believe it or not.

Good news for those who didn't pick up the steelbooks;but shame those people had to miss out. The steelbooks are things of beauty.

Aren't they still available? I thought 2 at least was not even close to selling out.

Yes...great news for people who love movies.

I'm a fan of film. Fancy tin cans are a dime-a-dozen and I don't need them taking up space in my movie library.

That's EXCELLENT. I'll probably pick up the original film. Which store is this from? Could you please link to the page?

I should have known this was going to happen. I'm not really a fan of Steelbooks but really wanted the movies, now I feel like I've been butt raped for spending all that money on the steelbooks.

Oh well, I'll probably get these and sell the steelbooks.

If the re-releases are bare bones, I have no regret picking up the steelbooks (last month! LOL). Either way, glad they are making them more affordable so more people can see how great these releases are.
my lucky number is none. my favorite color is dead.

I have avoided the steel books primarily because... well, I do not care much for steelbooks.

To me, the movies are what matter, so I am not too terribly miffed about losing the extras. Especially not considering the price difference. I am disappointed that the regular editions will not keep all soundtrack options, though.
Most wanted blu-ray upgrades: Kafka, The Limey, Suspiria (remaster), Castle of Blood, The Horrible Dr. Hichcock, Nosferatu (1979), Blood and Black Lace, Dracula (1979), L'avventura, The Vanishing (1988), Eyes Without a Face, The Changeling (1980), Ringu, Ju-on, Miracle Mile, The Honeymoon Killers, Without Warning, Don't Look Now (remaster), Man Bites Dog, Cannibal Holocaust, Creature (The Titan Find), Irrèversible, The Fearless Vampire Killers, The Black Hole, The Sentinel (1979)

Awesome news, i just ordered the steelbook of Demons and will grab the amaray of Demons 2, those extras on Demons were too much for me personally to pass. Looks like i am going to try and see what i can get for my Arrow Steel now.

You got extra content as well.

But now that the standard releases have been stripped of extras, you'll have no problem selling the steels.
