Sometimes, Walmart will carry only the 1-Disc set, which may explain your earlier assumption that Walmart lacks extras. But in this case, you can buy it from Walmart without any fears.
Awesome! Were you still able to redeem your digital copy?

Yeah, Walmart had a big display featuring the Marvel Cinematic movies in order to promote Iron Man 3.

Just watched this again, and I really like this film... especially now after viewing pt3, a newfound regard I guess.
The fact that this film was also the biggest leap toward The AVENGERS, isn't as much an annoyance for me, given the fact the link had to begin somewhere.
The final battle with Whiplash seemed short upon initial viewing, however, now seems just about right.. again, after viewing pt3.

For MARVEL:

For Trade:
[Show spoiler] Thor:TDW (Zavvi SB)
CA:TWS (BBE SB)
Guardians (BBE SB)

I have the single disc edition of this (wife picked up the wrong one). Is it worth picking up the 2 disc for the special features?

Got the 2 disc version in today from Amazon...with the slip cover! Sweet. Also, I guess they are still stocking the Paramount version because that's the one I received.

Any chance we will see a re-release of IM2, no Blu-ray/dvd combo, with both Blu-ray discs? I refuse to purchase/support the combos.

You refuse to buy BDs that also come with DVDs?

Yes, I don't like them, and they're a waste IMO. Just purchased the seventh season of Big Bang Theory, Blu-ray release only, as it was initially released in that combo, and I would rather just wait for Blu-ray only releases on titles I want.

Not making fun of you but a LOT of movies only come in these combo packs. That seems like an extremely limiting quirk you have there.

Anyway, Iron Man 2 was already re-released once, I doubt it will be again for a long time.

Oh I know, but titles I want will eventually be released Blu-ray only. I find it odd that they are still doing this practice of the combos. As far as IM2 goes, I'm hoping we will see a re-release around the time of Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Not a good idea. Right now, Disney is still selling leftover Paramount stock. When all of it is gone, they'll prolly sell the 1-disc version w/o the Bonus Features disc (ala Iron Man 1).
