The fact that it's my least favorite film in the series, however, does not mean that I do not occasionally want to revisit it. It has its moments, however few and far between they are.

I love that it changed the formula a bit and did some ballsy stuff. The story, concept, and visuals are grade A for me. It's the execution, music, and rushed feeling that turned me off. I've reminisced about it here:

I loved the film immensely as an 8 year old who saw the unrated version. But I hated it when I saw the theatrical version on cable a few years later.
I'm sure I'll see it in a different light when I finally watch it again for the first time in nearly 20 years. I'm really looking forward to it.

I asked because I wanted to know why people don't like it. Most people rarely see things the way I do, so I figured most would hate it for reasons I find silly, like not being formulaic enough (in other words, daring to venture from the same old same old).
