Are they going to redo the 3D on the third movie?

The DVD released years ago included the rated and unrated versions of the movie. If I was to jump to any conclusion, it would be that the Blu-ray was probably do the same.

With Jason Goes to Hell, every single death is a lot more nasty in the uncut version, plus the tent sex scene is extended.
I certainly hope that unrated version is included. Jason Goes to Hell is a guilty pleasure of mine. The gore (in the unrated version) is over the top nasty and still in the good old days of practical effects. I must say though...beings I do have parts 1, 2, 3, Freddy vs Jason and Friday the 13th remake, if Jason Goes to Hell is just the R rated cut, I will more than likely just wait until they are all released individually.

Yeah that scene was crazy, what was Jason's issue with white guy's mustache that he didn't have with the medical examiners mustache?

It's creepy!
Biggest Jennifer Lawrence fan here / I've finished a 5th draft of my latest script. It's a comedy Life As Liz written in mind with Jen as the lead. PM If interested. I'm currently working on my 14th script at the moment. I'm 95 pages into it as of now.

I'm looking for the Target Exclusive of Serena on Blu Ray with Slip. It can be the regular version of the Target exclusive. If anyone has it. I'm willing to trade Blu Rays, DVDs or Slips from my collection for it.

Chris awakes in canoe, sees Rick alive inside the cabin, gets out of canoe, runs to front door of house, Jason rushes out and decapitates her. This was filmed early on and the decision was made to have an ending closer to that of the first movie. They had also gone with a different design for Jasons face (the "unused" design can actually be seen in the movie when Jason is standing at a distance, and I think in the flashback).

So the original ending is much better, I wonder if the footage still exists.

I've also heard they changed the ending because they decided it wasn't a great idea to have everyone die.

Aside from Tommy Jarvis they never revisited any of the other surviving characters in the other Friday The 13th movies so what would have been the big deal if Jason had killed every character in 1 movie?

I guess in horror movies someone is supposed to beat the bad guy in the end.

They probably just didn't want to end the movie on a downer.

a quote from the films editor in Crystal Lake memories "...I think we all felt that you had to leave somebody behind... and that the first ending might depress people."
Larry Zerner mentions the ending of the script, which had Chris finding all her friends dead in the barn, and decapitating Jason.

I would have ended it with Jason walking into the lake after he had killed everyone.

Just think, this would have made it unique in the franchise, the one where no one survived.

Ok, so I forgot the surviving counselor from part 1 who survived being killed by Mrs. Voorhees for like 5 minutes before being killed by Jason himself in part 2. She didn't have to take on Mrs. Voorhees again & didn't survive long enough to even get to fully take on Jason before being killed. Technically the statement was true since it only pertained to Jason victims instead of Mrs. Voorhees victims.

Yeah, I pretty much agree with this. The fact that TCM: The Beginning is being released as the R rated cut only, doesn't bode well for an unrated version of Jason Goes to Hell.
