It's wonderful to have a room just for music.

LOL! I guess I did!

Started to go through my collection over the weekend to give it some kind of order. I used to be meticulous about keeping my vinyl properly alphabetized, but I've let it slide in recent years. Still haven't decided if I should keep my audiophile pressings seperate and apart from my main collection. I do use seperate categories for Boxsets and Classical.

Do you use a system at all?

I did once upon a time ..... And that was one of the things I planned on tackling later today GET OUT OF MY HEAD .... And since my LP's are in crates I want to count how many on average fit in each one, so I can give an estimate to Al (the Geekster). At one point I had my DOR (dance oriented records) separated from the rest of my collection and my classic jazz / classical separated from the rest .I think I'll go back to that and maybe have them stored in different locations also (due to space constraints)

The more I think about, the more I'm thinking to keep my Audiophile vinyl seperate. Wouldn't be too hard to do, as I keep most of them in my audio room anyway. I'm just afraid if I do so that my regular vinyl will see less and less spins....and I'm not liking that possibility. I've got too many non-audiophile pressings that I want to play.

I could buy another IKEA EXPIDIT unit and stack them, so I could have most of my vinyl together. Decisions, decisions!GRRR!!!!

Thinking today might be a combo of some Classical and Progressive Rock. Might do a Pink Floyd or Supertramp compilation from first to last.

Some go back 3 years and more. I think because we communicate so much on our regular pages, that these SC pages are but a fleeting thought.
