Seriously, the DVDs look like ass. I rewatched certain episodes and for some reason, they look shitter than ever. Maybe it's a sign?

Buddy, I thought the same thing when I watched the series through over a couple months last year on Netflix. The PQ was like sprinkling broken glass on my contact lenses before putting them on my eyes

I tried re-watching the whole series a few years ago and Season 1 and 2 in particular was a difficult viewing experience. I still enjoyed it a lot, but it's just frustrating when you know it could look a lot better even on DVD. And now that we have the HD broadcast caps to look at, it makes watching the DVD even more difficult.

I'm listening to volume one of the limited edition soundtrack that was released a few years back, it's just making me yearn for these Blu Rays even more, please Fox please!

I'm so crazy to see season 5 on HD. Now I'm sure that will be marvelous! Save for one, two, three, maybe four episodes, it was a solid batch! I just didn't like how short it was and how in certain episodes either Mulder or Scully "disappeared" or where absent for the last remaning bit of an episode.

Yep, they sure do........just like the Star Trek Next Generation DVD's did. That's why the new STTNG sets are SUCH A REVELATION as are these screens for the X-Files. The Blu-ray will look even better.

1. Will we ever get them......I say absolutely.
2. Will we get them in any sort of timely fashion......I say nope.

The head of Fox's home video department probably watches this thread and is sitting behind their desk laughing maniacally at us.
