Totally agree! I was very impressed with this release, and that's saying something as I'm not a huge horror fan. I really liked the slow, creepy wide-angle camera shots. That coupled with the bizarre music made this film quite the "jump inducing" treat.
I was a tad put off by the ending, but I'll give it a pass as it did tie up everything quite nicely.
Again I'm not a huge fan of horror movies, but I higly recommend this for all those that might be "on the fence" about it.

I watched it the other day and loved it, first movie to freak me out in a long time. Told a buddy of mine to watch it and after he did he was like, meh, it was okay. That's the thing about horror, it's very subjective (kinda like comedy). Some people are scared of spiders, some not even a little bit.

I didn't think it was really scary, but I loved it anyways. A movie doesn't have to be scary to be good. I just loved how effective it was at generating an eerie, dreadful mood. Not scary, but definitely a spectacular film. I'd say it's... unsettling.

Currently $7 used from familyvideo.com. Pretty solid price...I may get it for that. I enjoyed the film.
Fun Fact: I am the same height ( 5'1'') as Carrie Fisher, Jean Harlow, Holly Hunter, Christina Ricci, Ellen Page, Emilie De Ravin, Anna Kendrick, Kristen Bell...yes great things do come in small packages :)
