Are Samsungs really that bad?

iv owned 2 samsung plasmas 1st one was a fantastic tv for us and served us well for years and this was a tv bought to price so one of the lower end models

as it was such a great tv we stuck with samsung and bought a 64 inch E8000 plasma which we had issues with (audible buzzing) as we had with the 2nd set also however i will say that dealing with samsung themselves they were fantastic the tech guys that they employ were hopeless (didnt even know what model they were looking at)

we ended up moving to a panny which we are so happy with so it all worked out for us in the end

i will say though that the pq on the sammys are excellent and the 3D is better that on the panny

unfortunatly i think its all a roll of the dice these days when purchasing anythinjg as build quality is not quite what it was my advice buy from a reputable retailer and question them about return policy as well
