IMO whilst the ones closer in genre do have similar styles, they certainly aren;y close to being the same films. I'm not exactly Cameron's biggest fan, but he has had a varied career.
<<<<Also have 7500+ dvds not added to my collection. Decided it was a losing battle. Also have several hundred blu-rays to add but only adding when watched as a rule of thumb.

He makes big dumb action movies. There's nothing wrong with that, I just don't stan for big dumb action movies. He is very good at what he does (as is Michael Bay) and while I enjoy those kinds of films from time to time, they definitely aren't my favourite genre of films.......

I love that in Tron the real world stuff is 2D, then as soon as you go in the system "bang" 3D.

My favorite 3D for demo purposes is still Hugo.

My ass his movies are dumb. Comparing James Cameron to Michael Bay is like comparing Steven Spielberg to Brett Ratner. Fair enough you don't have a taste for his macho/bad-ass-women style but that doesn't make him dumb.

Anyway, best 3D in my tiny collection is Tangled, Titanic and Hugo.

I didn't say he was dumb, I said his movies were dumb
