I asked Warner Archive on Twitter- "Are there any plans to release Justice League: Unlimited on blu-ray? You have released other DC animated series."

Warner Archive's reply- "Yes, but we have nothing to announce."

It's good to know that they haven't forgotten about the series. I have Justice League and really want Unlimited.

Good god I hope not. At this point the Justice League isn't guaranteed, they have to have 3 more successful films before the big team movie with WB/DC's current slate. Fingers crossed. Even if Justice League does come to light, I really hope they don't wait that long to release the final two seasons.

I really hope they release JL Unlimited in one complete package instead of the first 26 in one set and then the last 13 episodes 6 years after that. I actually found the final season to be the weakest, as the previous multi-storyline Cadmus arc was just about perfect, so I'd prefer to get them in one big set together.

I also wonder if they'll ever do Batman Beyond on BD- the first 26 episodes were hand animated but the last 26 could simply be ported over to HD like JL. I know it isn't ideal but they could release the last half as "Batman Beyond: The HD Collection" or something. Or better yet just invest the money and convert the entire DCAU to HD.

Just got this pretty cheap. Ordered it late last night from a third party seller on Amazon. I've been trying to get this at a reasonable price for quite a while now. I think this is reasonable enough.

Does anyone think they will ever re-release these in the future? Especially after they start releasing DC's cinematic universe? Just curious as it is currently not available in the UK but prices to import it are pretty steep...

It's possible Warner Archive might re-release it when JL: Unlimited arrives, glad I imported mine years ago when they were less than £15 each.

Yep, I created a page for it a while back after it was announced. Waiting on a release date.

Wow, can WB get any lazier on this set. Is it 14 on one disc and 12 on the other or did they separate one of the episodes onto each disc?

Should I throw away the slipcover from the S2 set? Since neither S1 nor the Unlimited set had one, and I like my cases to match, the sole slipcover of the collection sticks out too much.

I doubt anyone's asking for a slipcover for S2, so what do you say?

There was a slip cover? I didn't get one, not that I wouldn't just throw it out anyway.

I have left mine on, my entire collection is a mixture of releases with and without slip covers so doesn't bother me.

Well said!
To follow that up, I also have different:

socks, cars, carpeting, underwear, rooms, spices, TVs, neck ties, etc etc....and that doesn't bother me either.
