Cool thanks for requesting the review Mr.Jack.

Couple of clarifications:

Those dark markings are indeed dried sap, not a whole lot that can be done about that happening occasionally with a real wood veneer, which is cherry and not rosewood by the way.

The whole cabinet is a single piece, the baffle just has no veneer and is painted black.

Changing out the drivers is a bit of a process, the rubber trim rings can be removed to expose the screws underneath, but you'll have to re-glue the rings back down.

Yeah probably not a great idea to have the center on top of the sub, but the rubber feet should absorb at least some of the vibrations. Also, with all of that reflective surface in front of the speaker he's probably going to get a peak in the upper-midrange.

These aren't professional grade pics, but they are large. Hopefully I can highlight some of the wonderful curves of the Verus Grand Towers.

So here they are: Pictures of Aperion Verus Grand Towers (VGT) (hopefully make it easier to search).

I really like the curves of the cabinet, particularly the slight arch of the top and how it tapers to the back.

What kind of speaker you use?

I also like the rubber surrounds around the drivers to hide the mounting screws.

Need some help with speakers and found this thread. I am looking at the Aperion INTIMUS L6 in-wall speakers as my front l/r and rear l/r and the INTIMUS 6-LCR in-wall as my center speaker along with an old Polk PS650 sub I have. This setup is going into a 20X16 room with 20ft ceilings. I am powering the speakers with a Denon 3312. My front 3 speakers are being mounted above a fireplace on a mantel along with my 60" T.V. The space behind the speakers will be a very large hollow space. These speakers are open in the back--do you think they will even work in my setup? Any other recommendations for a $1000 in-wall speaker set up? I'm also interested in the Polk in-wall speakers as they are in a "box".

Thanks for the help.

Hello SCroder, Sorry it took so long to respond to you. Just incase you were still looking for some information, the Aperion In-walls/In-ceilings have a infinate baffle design, meaning they do not need the a boxed inclosure. The L6IW is a good option for the front L/R, and surrounds, but the 6LCR can be used for the front L/R/C, and would be the preferable option for the fronts. You do have tall ceilings, but there is nothing you can about that. Fortunately our in-wall/ceilings have aimable tweeter. Hope this helps you out.
