To put all of your concerns to rest. I have been frustrated with the communication or lack there of coming from Chat at Epik. This led me to doubt the stability of the company. I did get in touch with Chad today and found out that they are extremely healthy. He sincerely appologized to me for not getting back with me and the rest of you. He has been working crazy hours and traveling to finalize parts. ALL of the subs are made in house by hand and the holiday sale was 5 times more than expected. It will be a couple months before product is ready to order, but he is very excited and will be introducing VERY SERIOUS NO HOLDS BARRED subs going forward while keeping the price very reasonable. He told me he sincerely appologizes and would do a better job communicating with the public.

I am once again one happy Epik customer

So you were frustrated that he wasn't able to answer your calls to chat?

How about when the product fails and you call everyday and no one returns or answers calls? How does anything above put faith back into a company or anything in that matter when they don't product. I truly want to cheer for epik. But nothing above you posted has solved anything or shown anything to put trust in. As of today it changes nothing.

If you are having problems with the Epik Legend subwoofer or with Epik's customer service, you should think about building a Big Daddy Legend subwoofer.

After much deliberation and problem solving,

I settled on a distance of 6'02" for the subwoofer in the Pioneer's settings. The cable also made a difference - perhaps because the old cable wasn't as shielded - and it ran alongside a power cord. The new one has its own separate flex-tubing.

Regardless, be it psychoacoustics or not, my bass is back, without touching the gain or channel level settings.

Fortunately, because a new subwoofer is not in the cards.
