I seen this and was trippin out! What is this film? Is it any good? It seems weird but unique. Any take or opinions on this? Got Em!!

I was not too impressed by it, it was ok imo. The pq and aq was good, the story was just bizarre. Here is the review from this site, with plenty of user reviews:

I did see some reviews and what not, but what I want to know is can u compare it to anything so i can get a take of what its like? I mean is it a musical musical? It just seems funny a musical horror? Does it work together?? Got Em!!

It's a horror opera. The biggest difference between this and Sweeney Todd is that REPO has very little talking as apposed to musicals that are half singing and half talking.
I blind bought it because of Anthony Stuart Head, being a big fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the musical episode he is the strongest voice in this film....well besides Sarah Brightman. Just rent it.

Paul Sorvino was pretty good in it as well.

Never knew he could sing!

He was trained in Opera from what I remember.

Check out the commentary track, they talk about all the stuff in great depth.

I know the guy who Head used as a puppet {he lives here in Toronto} and I know the guy who designed the Repo mask.

I have this on Dvd, is the blu ray worth upgrading too?

It's definitely not for everyone. I didn't enjoy it the first time. Gave it a second chance and it grew on me a bit. It's like Rocky Horror Picture Show in that regard. I needed to see that about 5 times before I could tolerate it.

haha I saw this on netflix streaming.. a friend told me to check it out.. way too weird for me..

I will stick with my 2001 maniacs.

Why does this film get so much hate? I've watched it many times and enjoyed the brilliant artistic and set designs and world the film created. The CGI was done tastefully, and it was a blast. Great lyrics, quick pace and really involving film.

For those that like repo and have Netflix, check out the devil's carnival. I love it

Repo's not for everyone but I thought I'd hate it since I've never liked a musical. Well repo got me into 'em.
Of course so far it's only got me to watch Devil's carnival & Sweeney Todd but I like them both

I just need to find it on blu-ray. I know I can find it on amazon easy, but I don't have $25 worth of stuff I want to get free shipping at the moment
