I told my fiancee the website that was recommended but forgot to tell her what program to download. She read through quite a few of the program descriptions and she felt that 'Junkware removal tool' best described our problem, so she downloaded that and run it, which removed it. However I realised afterwards that I had forgotten to tell her what program to use, so I then downloaded Malwarebytes and run that too. It come up with one other thing that 'Junkware" didn't, and it removed it.

I've pretty much used MSE since you guys recommended around the time I started this thread. I haven't installed MW, but might for extra security. As reliable as some may say the paid securities are, I've not had a problem(Knock on wood) with what has been recommended. It has caught and disposed of pesky things every time. Thanks gang.
Do you really have something to say or are you just in love with the sound of your keyboard?

I've never been a huge advocate of antivirus at all (see my previous post in this thread for confirmation of that), but I'm having no issues with my 13 cent copy of Bitdefender Internet Security 2013.
