Wow. I watched this the other night and the quality is perfectly fine. Not really sure what people are complaining about...

It was good enough for me.

I'll gladly take the look for the French DC over the overly sharpened, blown out version we have of the TC in the States!
2012 favs: Prometheus, Indiana Jones: The Complete Adventures, Universal Classic Monsters, The Terminator (UK), E.T. (digibook), JAWS (digibook), Walking Dead Season 2 w/ Zombie Head, Full Metal Jacket (digibook), Star Trek TNG Season 1, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Casablanca, Game of Thrones Season 1, Cleopatra (UK)

French DC is beautiful with fine details, I've watched it multiple times already. I would like to know how the German release turned out

Just got my German edition in the mail, I think it looks very close to the French release.

Shame that Amazon DE screwed my order and sent 2 copies of the standard release instead of 1 standard, 1 ultimate.

I can't say I agree here. Granted, they're not the best mixes I've ever heard, but I certainly don't think they're that bad. I've heard much, much worse...at least there's an option of 5.1 and 2.0...Personally, I wish there had been a similar choice on the 25th anniversary Lionsgate release of "Evil Dead 2," because that DTS 5.1 track on that once sounded way too aggressive at times IMO.

I agree to an extent. IMO the night time scenes didnt look that bad but the bright day time scene really make the DNR obvious...like painfully obvious.

She is the next big thing in Hollywood JENNIFER LAWRENCE. Super talented, down to earth, funny and cool. The love of my life

Already won an oscar this year..... You should check out some of her movies.....Hunger games/Silver linings playbook/Last xmen film.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I seriously had no idea who she was. Yeah, I saw about 30 seconds of a trailer for that "Hunger Games" movie before rolling my eyes and telling myself I'll stick to "The Running Man"...Sorry, I didn't mean to insult you by laughing so hard, but the way you worded your post makes you sound either like her agent, her husband, or a stalker . Yeah, no offense to her, but I have this little problem with seeing movies that have been made over the past 15 years or so (about 99.9% of them are complete garbage...which, by the way, is exactly why I'm calling it quits on Hollywood after "The Hobbit" films conclude).

Well, I wish her the best in her career, even though I'll never see any of her stuff (unless she's cast in the last two "Hobbit" films)...she's obviously just trying to make a living in a business that has been flushed and gone bye-bye for some time now...but if she's truly a down to earth person, and funny and cool...well then, as is the case with anyone else I've ever met who has such great personality traits (which has only been a handful of people), she's more than welcome to hang out with me and watch movies like "Big Trouble in Little China," "The NeverEnding Story," "The Last Starfighter," "Army of Darkness," or "The Running Man" ...

It's not as rare as you would think. You can buy it here for $8. This is where I got mine. And I think they have a lot. I got mine years ago and they're still selling it and this isn't a bootleg.
