Why would they have the same remastered disc with two different covers and at two different prices?

That one just has the special faceplate like other mgm titles. The artwork is the same underneath though. It is definitely the remastered edition.

So, there's absolutely no difference in the video or audio of the movie itself, and it's the correct region for America?

By the way. I've thought about getting John Carpenter's original Halloween on Blu/Ray, but I've read some negative things about the transfer. Is it worth getting on Blu-Ray?

Watched the Remastered Disc from the UK Steel for the first time last night(to coincide with Thanksgiving & Memories of Paulie's kind hearted gestures during turkey day in this film).

Anyways, I think the film looks fantastic with this transfer. I am very pleased.

The 5.1 Mix as it pertains to Conti's fantastic score during Round 14 being turned way down is still a disgrace however.
For Your Consideration...

I've been watching the first Rocky movie on every Thanksgiving day for roughly the last 20 years for that very reason.

It's my official Thanksgiving movie. When I was a little kid it was watching King Kong on Thanksgiving night on TV.
