Help me decide guys,

Right now i live in an apartment and will be moving soon to a new condo with a living room size 12x14x9. My setup is m7s7, center 3, polk audio tsi300 for surround and svs sb13 ultra.
Option 1.
upgrade my fronts to monitor 11 then move the monitor 7 at the back or
Option 2.
go dual sub, buy another svs sb13ultra
Option 3.
Get the surround 3.

Thanks
I think you've got it petty good right now with what you have but would choose option 4 if there is one.
Get the CentreSurround 3 for side surround and use the tsi 300's for rear surround in your now 7.1 system.

Is the couch going to be up against the wall or out towards the middle like in the bottom picture?

So I'd say when you setup, give the M7s about 18" from the back of the speaker to the wall, allow the bass reflex to help emphasize the bass and boundary loading. It's a good place to start so the bass doesn't sound too boomy or too weak, adjust to your liking, plus it'll add depth to the sound, drums and bass guitars should sound like they're 2-3' behind the speakers. For surrounds, I'd suggest getting bi-pole on-wall speakers behind your seated position.

I don't have experience with either but I think because you already have the paradigms, I'd just stick with those for a coherent sound all the way around. However because they are surrounds, either would work just fine.

Hello, longtime paradigm fan. New to this site though. I'm trying to figure out what a good price would be for two new studio 100s v.5 in black gloss and a cc-690 v.5 in black ash that are being sold by non-paradigm dealer that is a custom installer. He was going to use them for a job that fell through and is trying to get rid of them. What's a good price for them w/o a warranty? All three speakers are brand new in sealed boxes. I would be considering having a furniture restoration guy add a black lacquer finish the 690. Any opinion on that topic is welcome also. The only reason I'm considering that option is bc the 690s v.5 are so hard to find now.

thanks for the response. So, in essence, treat them like used speakers in terms of price. I think that's what you're saying. Anyone else have an opinion?

They are used.

He bought them unauthorized. They, as far as Paradigm will be concerned, no longer exist. You might get lucky if you have a problem that Paradigm might start the warranty at the manufacturing date. Highly doubt it.

Honestly...

Half cost of retail or 15% higher than his cost, whichever is greater.

Even if he bought them from an authorized source, he likely paid 40% the difference between wholesale and retail.

No, I do not know the wholesale on Paradigm. But I do know wholesale on several others(I used to sell wholesale and buy from my prior employer all the time).

Yeah treat them like used, but see how much they are willing to budge. I would ask them how much they want to sell it for first and then work from there. It seems like you will get a pretty good deal regardless since they probably just wanna unload them. It's only going to get harder and harder to find Studio v5 speakers. You could always go for the Prestige series, but the MSRP is higher than Studios before they were discontinued. If you can get a good deal for these Studios, definitely go for it. I have the 100s and 690 and they are great for the fronts. Paradigms are no longer a great bang for your buck these days with their crazy annual price hikes, but this might be your chance to get them for a good price in the secondary market.

Sound & Vision gave some speakers from the Prestige line a decent review:

Default What ADP model to look for?

Hi all from New Zealand.
I've had a pair of 9SE Mk2's since they were released and originally used them for stereo. I moved into HT and purchased a centre and surrounds (Atoms from memory - centre matched) and was running them through a Rotel series 8 system - wasn't over enamoured with the surround or centre to be honest. Offloaded the centre and atoms, upgraded Rotel to series 9, added Sunfire True Sub (original version) and purchased set of 5 NZ made Image speakers for HT use. First child born almost 13 years ago and HT got either sold (Rotels) or packed away (speakers) ... fast forward to now - have fallen in love with the 9SE Mk2's all over again (over the last 2 or 3 years) and have been looking at HT again (kids old enough to enjoy now) - the NZ made speakers are all but sold, the Sunfire is sitting patiently in it's box and I have just acquired a very good condition CC-300 ... my question is (after such a long post) "what ADP surround should I be looking to as a good match?" (as an aside - can an ADP-150 be modded to match?)

CC-690 owners. Is someone able to give me a height measurement without the feet? I just had a new entertainment unit made, but only got the hole for the center at 230, expecting it to be high enough for most centers (it's big enough for my huge Wharfedale Jade JC2) But I was wrong it seems.
