Good games for PS3 from 2012 - Blu-ray Forum

I completely missed gaming for 2012 because I was busy. The PS4 announcement got me really back into gaming. I have Black Ops II, journey and the walking dead from 2012. I was thinking Max Payne 3 @ $17 would be a good start. Maybe Best Buy will price match Amazon for it. Any other suggestions from 2012?

Max Payne was great.

I think my fav game last year was Fall of Cybertron. Great action game with fantastic events...

Mass Effect 3 was awesome. Dishonored is awesome.

X-com was also good(although I played this on PC)

Walking Dead 5 chapters from Telltale are MUST PLAY.

So yeah... those were the top 5 for me in 2012 on PS3.

I totally concur with Max Payne 3, X-Com, and ACIII. Far Cry 3 should be a must-play as well, and my favorite of '12. Borderlands 2 is great. Haven't played much of Sleeping Dogs or Prototype 2, but what I've seen of them has been great. Lollipop Chainsaw is good for a laugh, but it is a shorter and less-refined game.

And yes, Best Buy will price match Amazon. They're price matching everything from now on.

Alright thanks guys. I picked up Max Payne 3 and with two weekends ahead of me I might be able to take my time with it before I get Bioshock Infinite. Ni ni Kuni after that and then back at the 2012 games. Dishonered and Far Cry 3 and then swing back around in the summer and get some of the early 2013 releases.

I beat Mass Effect 2 and liked it, for some reason I have no desire to play 3 though.

Darksiders II - A must play! Challenging puzzles, awesome monsters, ridiculous weapons (in a good way), combat is very entertaining, pretty much badass.
Kingdoms of Amalur - for an action rpg this game really makes you focus on the rpg aspect which I like alot, being a battlemage has never been so fun!
Max Payne 3 has such an amazing multiplayer, very addictive, despite the awful bugs, they may have fixed it up by now. Last played it around September.
Trine 2 is a nice little game
