Much less humor, all the major characters died etc (also probably the most violent film in the franchise with the Vader scene, though of course still within PG-13 bounds). Even morally gray actions like Cassian shooting someone on his side for for fear of being captured

They better go the Dredd route, and leave that helmet on the whole movie.

Ugh... why the hell do a film with a very small side character especially after Lucas screwing his past up. Can the Disney star wars die already!

In my dreams it would be the Style of John Woo's the Killer and yes the helmet have to be on all the time, but that is Wishfull thinking, because Disney probably makes a children Movie again.

But at least James Mangold is a very good director

James Mangold, interesting. But will he finish what he started?
Too much nostalgia interrupts progress. Looking forward to something new.

3:10 to Yuma, Walk the Line, and Logan were amazing. 3 reasons to be excited for this.

Yeah... that's the big question... will they actually let him have creative control and make the movie he wants to make?

I wonder if Edgar Ramirez will have anything to do with this, or some other Star Wars property. He made quite a few Instagram posts yesterday showing that he was hanging out at Lucasfilm.

And then when we get that with Rian's trilogy, or the films by the GoT producers, everybody will be complaining that it's not Star Wars because there aren't any familiar characters...

Cassian kills the informant in cold blood and is later sent on an assassination mission. Vader goes on a hack-and-slash spree. Everyone dies at in the end.

If they can't get Temuera Morrison (because he's too old or whatever) I can only picture Manu Bennett as Boba Fett.
Temuera would be amazing, if he's too old they could hire a stunt man for the scenes with the helmet on and Temuera with CGI for the non-helmet scenes.

Boba Fett is the most overrated character in this franchise, maybe even of all time. Dude got killed by a nudge into a sarlacc pit. How cool can he possibly be?

I mean it's Star Wars so I'll see it, but I don't want it.
