I think a lot of us have

but here's a dumb reason for doing it - I went to a matinee after a late night up so I paid $ to take a nice nap and missed 90% of the movie
second time around.. was late at night

The most recent was Prisoners.

I also saw Olympus Has Fallen twice, but that doesn't really count, because I went with my dad and he paid the second time.

Other than, 2013 has been a one-movie year so far.

This year Star Trek got 5 visits from myself, I hadn't achieved that number since ST:Insurrection and Phantom Menace in 1999.

Avatar, Star Trek (09) have had 3 visits apiece. Harry Potter DHprt2 and Hobbit x2.

the next Hobbit ill see twice because I plan a trip to The Embassy cinema in Wellington possibly in the new year to experience the large screen and it is equipped with Atmos.

I used to consult for a film tech company and I had to go to the opening day of a film and review the quality of both the print and the presentation from a technical standpoint.

If the showing was at a multiplex and it was playing on more than one screen, I had to watch it on every screen.

When Star Wars Episode 1 opened, it was playing on 10 screens! For that one, we had to see it in its entirety on 2-3 screens and then a half hour each on all the other screens.

But the interesting thing about seeing films more than once in that situation was that every time I saw the same film again, it was a completely different experience. The presentation quality was different and the audience reaction was completely different. The audience would react in different places, etc. And of course, I would react differently because I already knew what was going to happen, although each time I saw a film, I noticed something that I hadn't noticed in the previous showing.

It really taught me why some people can see a film and love it and others see the same film (but a different presentation) and think it sucked.
loose="not tight", lose="can't find it, doesn't have anymore" or the opposite of "win".
their="belongs to", there="place", they're="they are", there's = "there is"
it's="it is", for everything else use "its"
then="after", than="compared with"
"a lot" not "alot"
