Yes, I did.

Tried both inputs on projector. PS3 & Marantz player from AVR. And Marantz player directly to projector making sure it wasn’t the AVR.

Well I'm out of ideas. Did they sneak a Darbee unit inside the PJ?

It’s working nicely except when the BD player turns off/on, or when movie starts/ends.

Guy coming tomorrow. He thinks it’s my stuff. Epson US told me it needs to be returned.

I tried PS3 and Marantz player, to receiver and dierectly to projector, with 35 foot cable and new 5 foot cable.

The panels need to be aligned. Was watching Once Upon a Time in America and white shirt collars have a little halo. Picture in motion is good, but old one was not off this much.

Guy from Epson came. Seems to think lag from Marantz gear (2009-SR6004 and 2011-UD5005) are causing flash.

Everything played fine with his Samsung 4K player.

After spending too much on the projector, it’s gonna be tough to talk wife into new player...but I could start playing 4K discs.

Was always thinking of Oppo, but not sure I feel good about getting support from a company that no longer makes BD players.

Maybe something cheap. IDK.

Waiting to see reviews on Pioneer. My old DV-655A player is still working at a friend’s house.

Maybe. That’s almost as much as Oppo here. Maybe Cambridge Audio CXUHD?

But after three pairs of towers and fun with projector, think I’m done spending so much on gear.

Sony UBP-X800?

kinda want SACD....even though my current player will do it and been ages since I played one.

Nope, just normal HDR I believe. No Dolby Vision or HDR10+ support.

Fix with firmware? Really know nothing about this new UHD stuff.
