Yeah, it also looks like they used the old scan (from the old Blu-ray), removed the jaggy stuff with a rendering programme, zoomed it in, smoothed the material, changed the contrast and colors, put some orange and teal on it, and that's it.

Its harder to spot the aliasing using a PJ, its certainly evident on a display.

The original Blu-ray is a POS, if you want a noisy, artifacting looking image, knock yourself out, I suppose you think the Predator UHE is the dogs bollocks too.

Is there a chance the price on amazon will go down to 19-20 $ in the near future?
I have already to pay import duties, I can't buy it for more than that price...

I don't think anyone is saying that the 2007 BD is great, just that the 2013 transfer has major issues of its own. It's up to each buyer which set of flaws bothers them most. Judging from screen grabs, I prefer the 2007 image. If you don't, that's OK.
BD: The Third Man (Studio Canal, CA (bilingual), A) 3; Warriors of Heaven and Earth (Sony, ZA) 1; Wolf (Sony, ZA) 1. Digital Codes: Close Encounters (UK; 31 Dec, 16) 2; Skyfall (USA; 12 Feb, 15) 1; Vertigo (USA; Exp. unk.) 2.

Last Summer, Costco had it for I believe either $12.95 or $14.95 which was when I bought it.
