I thought it looked pretty good in 1.85:1. If anyone wants to see what it looks like. Here's an example taken from a 35mm print of the movie. It's in rough shape, but is a legit matted presentation of the movie that doesn't suffer from the bad cropping in some scenes like the current Dimension Films restored version do. It'd be cool if the movie were restored and both aspect ratios were given to view like on The Evil Dead. In the case of Evil Dead, I prefer the 1.33:1 ratio, while Night works in either format in my opinion.

Anything more on a bluray from Film detective yet ? Seems like the majority of the new releases are just dvd
