Jealous. Ive been waiting to see that for such a long time. I'm a big Mamoru Hosoda fan. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is one of my favorites and in my top 10. Loved Summer Wars as well. He also did a great job with the Digimon movies, which has always been my favorite anime.

I saw it too, and thought it was pretty good (I've ordered the Japanese BD, but it's not going to ship out until Evangelion 3.33 is released, since I ordered them together).

I'd put it about on par with Summer Wars. I think The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is still his best film, though I personally feel that all of his films are missing a little something that would make them really great. But honestly, I don't know what that something is. It's just an intangible 'feeling.' That said, if I made a personal top 50 list, TGWLTT would probably make it in there.

That was the worst song in the whole movie. Highly derivative of the song you mentioned from The Little Mermaid.
