None that I've seen. I think everybody's been too busy asking about Deathdream, Don't Torture a Duckling, and The Tombs of the Blind Dead.

Horror like Deathdream or Zombi yes, C list Jess Franco films, I really doubt it, Z-grade spy films starring Shirley Eaton, I am even more doubtful. Maybe they do, but it seems really unlikely, especially considering DTAD is one of the pinnacles of the genre and there's a REALLY nice HD transfer of it out there. :P Guess we'll have to wait for some UK label to release it.

Sad news about Fight For Your Life, glad I held onto my DVD now.

Any chance of a half decent 35mm print still existing? even if it's a little beat up I'd be okay with that.

Just sayin'

You realize horror is probably the biggest selling genre on disc by far right? And that foreign movies, unless very well known, are the total opposite, right?

Would love to see The Blind Dead collection and Mountain of the Cannibal God but looks as if I'm going to have to keep wishing.

This confuses me as there is a very nice BD from Germany, so a HD master exists. Perhaps the Germans's own their restoration and it's too pricey? But clearly an element that's suitable exists.

The German Blu-Ray is fairly recent (November 2015) and most of the quotes being attributed to Blue Underground regarding Duckling are old and possibly outdated.

I remember a post on BU's Facebook page about a rare screening of Fight For Your Life from a 35mm print, but I've no idea what kind of shape it's in. It gave me hope a Blu-ray could be coming, but apparently not.

I hadn't noticed that. That is strange.

Was he aware that an HD-master had already been created overseas?

Take Jesus Franco's Eugenie for instance, which has a total of 1,011 votes on IMDB compared to Don't Torture a Duckling's 4,890. Which one do you think has a wider audience and would sell more copies?

Another Franco blu-ray that sold horribly is The Girl from Rio / The Million Eyes of Sumuru, which is only in 84 collections on this site.

I hope BU releases Sergio Sollima titles on blu someday. These are 3 great titles still missing - Violent City, Revolver & Run Man Run. They deserve to be on Blu-ray!

I would love to see BLOOD SPATTERED BRIDE jump to Blu from BU.
Artus released at last year on DVD ( no English options ) and there appears to be a nice new scan available.

Subkultur will be releasing it in Germany, but I don't know if there's been any update since that original announcement back in January.

I thought Tarantino had a 35mm print as well. Could be wrong on that though.

I just found this thread and popped in to ask about The Mountain of the Cannibal God. I guess it's safe to assume that there is either no news or bad news about an HD release of this. Tragic stuff. Ursula Andress + Cannibal film = No brainer/homerun to me. At least I'm not alone in wanting it.
