Is there more than one? I just have the first one that was released by Sony not long after the start of Blu-ray 3D.

There are three movies only the first being in 3d however. All pretty decent but the first in 3d was amazing!
Slight 3d addidction!

Oh, okay. Thank you. Well, there is your answer J320. Get the first one in 3D of course.

Too bad the others were not done with the same strong 3D. I wonder why not? I guess maybe they didn't realize 3D would be coming to Blu-ray at the time they were made. Maybe blu-ray wasn't even around at all when they were made, lol. I don't know. I didn't start really getting into animated movies that much until they started coming in 3D. Glad I did because they have some great stories. Now they have become pretty much my favorites. Meet The Robinsons was the first 3D one I saw in the theater.

Thanks, I should have been able to figure that out, but I wanted to make sure I had not missed anything. I will order the first one.
My boys are 8 and 11. Any other must haves? I get Madagascar 3 tomorrow.

It's amazing.

Too bad it's not region-free for us Europeans. Any chances of an import that will work in Region 2?

Also, are any of these worth getting?

I got Step Up, Coraline, Legend of the Guardians, The Polar Express and Yogi Bear.

I'm considering Piranha 3D? Or The Hole 3D?

Step up 3d has some of the best 3d as far as live action goes, and polar express is also a must have for Christmas time. Also legend of guardians I have heard is great. So it looks like you did good! Yogi has great 3d also
Slight 3d addidction!

I'd say Despicable Me if you don't have that. Remains one of my favorites. There is mixed opinion about the story. But I like it and the 3D is strong. Rio Ice Age. Tangled. You can't go wrong with anything DreamWorks, especially the ones that were originally made for 3D. I've not yet seen the ones that have been redone in 3D so can't really comment on those. Most of the animated stuff is great really. And of course there is Transformers. The list goes on lol.

I don't know about the region stuff.

I wouldn't bother with Piranha. It is a fun movie, but in my opinion a terrible looking conversion. I saw it in the theater. Some people say they think it looked good though, I don't know why. I can't comment on The Hole, as I've not seen it.

I've not seen all of those on your list. I heard Happy Feet has really strong 3D. I've not seen either of those movies at all, so I don't know if I would like them or not. Drive Angry is a fun silly kind of action movie. I've only seen the 2D version of it. But everyone says the 3D is really strong with lots of pop outs. I'd like to get it one of these days. I didn't like Cats and Dogs. Clash of the Titans is like the universal symbol for terrible conversions lol. I have Step Up, and kind of like it. It has pretty strong 3D. I've not seen The Harry Potters, Yogie Bear, or Sharks. The documentaries usually have very strong 3D though. I'd like to check out Sharks.

The hole has some pretty good 3d although it can be a little to much for young ones. It is fairly thrillerish not so childish! Lol good movie good 3d

If they have different directors and stereographers planning the 3D, which also explains why Beauty and the Beast 3D has great 3D, and Lion King 3D is a step beneath it for the 3D, on the conservative side. Two different conversion teams even though it's all under Disney.

Yes, Drive Angry 3D (strong 3D), My Bloody Valentine 3D (strong 3D) Piranha 3DD (strong 3D), Piranha 3D (good 3D)

Madagascar 3 3D on sale for 19.99. Great 3D.

Resident Evil Retribution 3D (strong 3D), Silent Hill Revelation (very strong 3D).

To think twice for 3D: Paranorman 3D (good to mostly weak 3D), good movie though.

Wreck it Ralph has good 3D. Good movie also.

Watched The Amazing Spider-Man 3D last night there were a few good scenes, but considering the movie runs over 2 hours, there was not enough 3D in it to recommend it for a3D watch, but it is definitely a awesome movie, and looks great in 2D on blu ray. Check it out if you haven't already, just skip the 3D!

I know, right. Especially when it's actually really good.

True about that paddle ball scene in Monsters vs Aliens. Took me quite a few views before I could watch that without blinking.

Even the worst 3D is worth watching sometimes in 3D since we have a 3DTV. Some will argue it's more of a pain if the 3D is weak, than if it's strong, since the weight of some of the older styled active glasses are heavy, and dig into the bridge of the nose, while the handles press hard into your skull. Thankfully I wear the Real D movie glasses you can get at the movie theater (passive).

Agreed. That shot was awesome. Really good 3D overall after a third watch.

Prometheus has really good 3D to great, and Journey 1 (very strong 3D) with Journey 2 (mostly strong 3D).
Have you guys seen Silent Hill Revelation? That is probably the best 3D movie I've seen in theaters for Pop Out and 3D layers. Awesome 3D. It's almost out of theaters, but at least it made 38 million worldwide so far.

I hear you on the passive, I have clip-ons which make it feel glasses free to me if that makes sense, seeing as I wear glasses anyway.

Looking forward to seeing Silent Hill and Abe Lincoln. At the moment I am taking some great advice and am going to give 3D a rest for a bit..not sure if that means the forum too!

My Bloody Valentine 3D had a couple of good pop out effects. The pickaxe flying into the windshield was a good one.

Checked out Conan 3D last night! Was really surprised with the 3D after reading alot of negative reviews on the 3D and the movie itself. There were hardly and pop outs, but the depth I thought was really good. The movie itself was very good, it is very brutal and the landscapes arespectacular. Anyone else get a chance to check this out? Really interested in your opinions of the movie.
