Glad I did because they have some great stories. Now they have become pretty much my favorites. Meet The Robinsons was the first 3D one I saw in the theater.
If they have different directors and stereographers planning the 3D, which also explains why Beauty and the Beast 3D has great 3D, and Lion King 3D is a step beneath it for the 3D, on the conservative side. Two different conversion teams even though it's all under Disney.

Also, are any of these worth getting?

I'm considering Piranha 3D? Or The Hole 3D?

Yes, Drive Angry 3D (strong 3D), My Bloody Valentine 3D (strong 3D) Piranha 3DD (strong 3D), Piranha 3D (good 3D)

Madagascar 3 3D on sale for 19.99. Great 3D.

Resident Evil Retribution 3D (strong 3D), Silent Hill Revelation (very strong 3D).

To think twice for 3D: Paranorman 3D (good to mostly weak 3D), good movie though.

Wreck it Ralph has good 3D. Good movie also.

Watched The Amazing Spider-Man 3D last night there were a few good scenes, but considering the movie runs over 2 hours, there was not enough 3D in it to recommend it for a3D watch, but it is definitely a awesome movie, and looks great in 2D on blu ray. Check it out if you haven't already, just skip the 3D!

I know, right. Especially when it's actually really good.

True about that paddle ball scene in Monsters vs Aliens. Took me quite a few views before I could watch that without blinking.

Even the worst 3D is worth watching sometimes in 3D since we have a 3DTV. Some will argue it's more of a pain if the 3D is weak, than if it's strong, since the weight of some of the older styled active glasses are heavy, and dig into the bridge of the nose, while the handles press hard into your skull. Thankfully I wear the Real D movie glasses you can get at the movie theater (passive).

Agreed. That shot was awesome. Really good 3D overall after a third watch.

Prometheus has really good 3D to great, and Journey 1 (very strong 3D) with Journey 2 (mostly strong 3D).
Have you guys seen Silent Hill Revelation? That is probably the best 3D movie I've seen in theaters for Pop Out and 3D layers. Awesome 3D. It's almost out of theaters, but at least it made 38 million worldwide so far.

I hear you on the passive, I have clip-ons which make it feel glasses free to me if that makes sense, seeing as I wear glasses anyway.

Looking forward to seeing Silent Hill and Abe Lincoln. At the moment I am taking some great advice and am going to give 3D a rest for a bit..not sure if that means the forum too!

My Bloody Valentine 3D had a couple of good pop out effects. The pickaxe flying into the windshield was a good one.

Checked out Conan 3D last night! Was really surprised with the 3D after reading alot of negative reviews on the 3D and the movie itself. There were hardly and pop outs, but the depth I thought was really good. The movie itself was very good, it is very brutal and the landscapes arespectacular. Anyone else get a chance to check this out? Really interested in your opinions of the movie.

Yes, if your eyes are bothering you, a break is needed. Usually a week off, and next round, there's a good chance your eye muscles have gotten enough time to rebuild themselves stronger, making viewing much easier. Clip on 3D glasses sound like a good idea.

I like that movie. The 3D later on seemed really good. Good action. That guy Momoa (Conan) is going to be the bad guy in the new Stallone movie in 2013. Forget the name of it.

Yes, perfect example of strong 3d.

The Pop Outs in Silent Hill Revelation 3D flew waaayyy out of the screen. That movie really took chances not many movies take as of late with the 3D. Great stuff. Best example of 3D I've seen all year so far.

It's nice that the active glasses for my Samsung are not heavy like that. They are very light weight, and not uncomfortable to wear. And they fit easily over my prescription glasses. There is hardly a difference for me. It's just like wearing any sunglasses.

Watched the first part of Titanic 3D last night. It looks really, really good, can't wait to finish it tonight. Really glad I picked this one up!

Okay just finished Part 2 tonight and wow I felt like I was watching a whole new movie. The sense of depth is just spectacular. Hardly any pop outs, but that was kind of expected. It just feels like you are right there with them thru this journey. Is this what Avatar is like?

Finally got to watch My Bloody Valentine 3D. The 3D was pretty decent, though there was a little more ghosting than I am used to, but I think that might be due to my 3D player needing to be upgraded, still a really good 3D movie with a few cool pop out scenes that made my girlfriend jump!

Tomorrow night is Brave 3D with the kids.

I'm planning to get FInal Destination 4 and Journey to the Center of the Earth as they're both 15$.
I'm currently looking for 3D BDs with loads of pop-out strong 3D.

Any other movies? I don't have any animation apart from Coraline, Despicable Me and Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.

What are some non-documentary movies that have really good pop-out? I don't know if it's just me, but I enjoyed Under The Sea, but for me it's hard to justify forking over $20 (or even $15) for like a 50 minute presentation.

I have Megamind (and saw it) and actually my order of Madagascar 3/Open Season just arrived. I remember the Megamind 3D being very pretty to look at, but I don't remember too much popping out at me ....unless my memory sucks.
