Thanks for the heads up! BTW, where on the site can I find these imports? I'm also looking for 1997's OPEN YOUR EYES on Blu. Could never get that film off my mind. |

Guess I don't understand your question. Do you mean on this site and what other imports are you looking for? As far as I'm aware Open Your Eyes isn't available on Blu-ray.

Full Frontal is an extended cut
Just a little FYI to everyone, the Echo Bridge Blu-ray of Steven Soderbergh's "Full Frontal" is an unadvertised extended cut of the film It's a full 10 minutes longer than the version previously available on DVD, which runs 101 mins. The cut on the BD is 111 mins. At first I thought the 101 min running time on the BD packaging was just a misprint, that the film really was always 111 mins. However I checked online and all sources said 101 mins. Then I popped in the old DVD I had and started them running at the same time. Starting at 7:53 there are little differences in the edit that creep in. A line here, a chunk of scene there. The BD is indeed a full 10 mins longer. Note that these are NOT the deleted scenes added back into the film, but other additional material. Everything online suggests the theatrical cut ran 101 mins, just like the DVD, so I guess this 111 min cut is brand new to the public. This explains why the audio commentary was dropped - it no longer fit the timing of this alternate cut. I don't know if this is a choice Soderbergh made, or an accident on Echo Bridge's part.Honestly, I don't think the film is Soderbergh's best, though it's still a fascinating experiment, and I find it hard to believe he re-edited the film for this bargain basement Blu-ray. I suspect Echo Bridge just mistakenly transferred an unfinished early cut of the film. Anyway, if you want an extra 10 mins of Full Frontal, check out the Blu-Ray.
