I started out organizing my collection in alphabetical order but then began to experiment with combinations (TV titles together with movies, Criterions only, Blu's with DVDs, etc), drawing inspiration from viewing pictures of other people's collections online. I had a bit of fun trying out stuff and re-arranging but it got to be a bit of a chore after awhile since I have so many discs/box sets so these days I've got everything back to alphabetical. The only difference is this time it's just random titles for every letter. In other words, I've got Batman next to The Black Emanuelle Collection then Back to the Future next to that, so it's not chronological. Every time I buy a new title - I just stick it in the corresponding letter section in any order without worrying about moving large blocks of movies aside just for one disc - it's just less work that way
