That is an outstanding YES! Blood Simple is one of my favorites and Miller's Crossing is a stellar gangster picture.

Blood Simple is an awesome film, and it's not Coen-y at all.

I just ordered this set and would greatly appreciate a couple more opinions on the picture quality. I've searched numerous reviews and it goes back and forth between great and mediocre. Let me know what you think! Thanks!

Blu-ray Samurai

I have decided to pick up "Raising Arizona." It has been years since I've seen the film, and I remember being frustrated that the only DVD available here in the US was a somewhat disappointing looking non-anamorphic letterbox release (which I owned at one point, and then eventually sold). I took a look at the following caps, and while there looks to be some noticeable cropping on the Blu, it still looks significantly better than the DVD. Looking forward to revisiting this one...of all the Cohen's films, this was my favorite

The newer films in the UK Coen bros set look great, only I'm not as interested in re-watching them. |
