That is an outstanding YES! Blood Simple is one of my favorites and Miller's Crossing is a stellar gangster picture.

Blood Simple is an awesome film, and it's not Coen-y at all.

This was an easy purchase for $20.00 especially since I don't have any of the movies in the boxset.

Yes, that sounds about right.
But for people that live in Europe, it will cost +/- $20,00 if we buy for £6 more free shipping).

I just ordered this set and would greatly appreciate a couple more opinions on the picture quality. I've searched numerous reviews and it goes back and forth between great and mediocre. Let me know what you think! Thanks!

I have decided to pick up "Raising Arizona." It has been years since I've seen the film, and I remember being frustrated that the only DVD available here in the US was a somewhat disappointing looking non-anamorphic letterbox release (which I owned at one point, and then eventually sold). I took a look at the following caps, and while there looks to be some noticeable cropping on the Blu, it still looks significantly better than the DVD. Looking forward to revisiting this one...of all the Cohen's films, this was my favorite :

Received my "Raising Arizona" Blu and gave it a watch ...Simply put, it's one of the finest presentations I've ever seen for a catalog release. Absolute reference-grade video quality IMO, and excellent audio also. I couldn't be happier, and was amazed at how good this one both looked and sounded. If only every Blu got this type of treatment...I had a blast revisiting this one...definitely recommended to those who love the movie and don't have it yet!

I assume you're talking about the US set. I've seen 3 of the films in the set (not seen Blood Simple). Fargo looks fantastic - wonderful presentation of Roger Deakins' photography. Raising Arizona and Millers' Crossing look quite decent - these are not full blown restored editions of the films and are not bursting with detail, but they certainly look significantly better than any SD releases (MC looks a little soft and the shadows can be a tad oppressive) and the likelihood of there being better releases in the foreseeable future is dim.
The newer films in the UK Coen bros set look great, only I'm not as interested in re-watching them.
