Reminds me of Colin Farrell. That guy was EVERYWHERE then Alexander happened.

I think it is safe to say Green Lantern bombed. If you factor in marketing it didn't make anything. I think Reynolds is better off as a co-star and I don't think a Deadpool movie would save his career. He needs to take a year off or so, he is overexposed IMO.

Looks like Jeff Bridges was "a little underwhelmed" by R.I.P.D. Can't blame the guy, so were many others.

This is truly an abysmal, lazy piece of forgettable garbage.
Not quite as awful as some of the other films his summer (After Earth, MOS) but it is definitely up there.
Mostly all I could think about while watching it was what a waste of money it was to put into this project.
I felt really bad for Jeff Bridges but he probably made a huge payday so I cant feel too bad I suppose.
1 out of 5 stars (obviously, how did anyone like this???????)

That about sums it up. You needn't have bothered saying more.

Just watched this again last night. Liked it even more this time. I would up my vote from 3 to 4 if I could.

We rented this one a few weeks ago from cable, and it just isn't very good. Bridges talks like he has marbles in his mouth, so it's hard to hear what he was saying. Completely forgettable film.

i'm not going to put my vote in...cause it's such a tough movie to grade. I mean, if this came out before MIB? It would've been a great, creative film. I loved the alter egos they had, nice twist. But since it came out after 3 other MIB films...most of RIPD just didn't seem fresh enough. No qualms with Bridges and Ryans acting, i enjoyed them enough.

Just watched this a few nights ago and I actually enjoyed it for what it was. Sure, it was stupid and forgettable in the long run, but it knew what it was....a big, dumb CGI fun-fest. Only thing that took me out of it sometimes was how bad some of the CGI looked with the transformations and then it would look pretty decent near the end of the movie with the city destruction. To me, it wasn't very consistent at all.

What is going on with Bridges' speech these past films? Does he have any teeth?

his speech was fine - he was doing a character and it fit just fine.

Honestly, the only reason I would buy this movie is because it has Marisa Miller in it, even then, I wouldn't pay more than $10 for it
