That's cool. I can appreciate that. I've never walked out either but it's not uncommon here in the U.S. As I stated earlier, I don't take issue with anyone leaving early but don't think seeking a refund is appropriate, assuming there was no issue related to the theater. (bad picture/sound, unruly theater goers etc.)

Only movie I ever walked out on was one who's name escapes me!

It was a "surprise" test screening of a Martin Short flick that my girlfriend (eventually my wife) got free passes to. I remember Short played a supremely obnoxious "boy" who was about 10 and it was a painfully awful flick. By about 3/4ths through, we got up to leave and some studio drone at the exit insisted we had to stay through the end of the movie and fill out the questionnaire. She lost that argument.

Only walked out of one movie that I can think of.

Wreck It Ralph. Movie was good, but the first time I saw it at the theater there was an obnoxious man that was laughing unbelievably loud throughout the previews and the whole movie (or at least as much as I sat through). He just laughed constantly, even at parts that were not funny. After about 10-15 minutes I had enough and went to talk to the theater staff. They just gave me a refund. I later went to the same theater to see the movie and had a much better experience that time.

Other than that, I don't remember ever leaving a theater because I hated the movie so much. I have been tempted a few times:

Ultraviolet
You Don't Mess with the Zohan
Transformers Dark of the Moon (Which was even worse than ROTF IMO)

Since I don't have to pay for tickets, yeah. Most often during comedies that I don't find funny in a theater full of laughter (get self-conscious) or films that I'm only wasting time with. Can't recall doing it recently though.

I can remember walking out of:
Identity Thief
The Heat
Oblivion (Was fine, but just kind of checked out near the end)
Mortal Instruments (the demon dog killed me)

I sat through it, but I felt like taking a shower afterwards. Just ugly.
Thereís something big and powerful and wise, and itís begging us to end its worthless life. So letís be Temple Grandin for the night, and find a friendly way to make it die.

Walked out of K-Pax, but a couple years later I finished it on disc.
