Blue Underground doesn't release cut versions, if uncut versions are at all available. BU releasing Fulci's New York Ripper cut would be unthinkable.

Different films. Blue Underground is releasing a 1969 film directed by Jess Franco. Redemption released a 1977 film directed by Chris Boger.

Due to the BBFC, the UK disc was cut, I guess it's why Norbie asked.

But yes, the BU disc is definitely uncut.

Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II(1987)
Pieces (1982)

Uncle Sam was a Larry Cohen penned and Bill Lustig directed film. If you are familiar with the Maniac Cop series then you know they add campiness to the films on purpose. I'm a huge fan of Cohen's work as well as Lusting's films. If you go into their movies not expecting a serious slasher/horror but just a fun and entertaining ride, you will enjoy them more. Agree completely that Hayes is a bad actor, great singer, horrible actor. Overall I enjoyed Uncle Sam and found it to be a fun and entertaining movie.
Hell Night / Band of the Hand / It's Alive / Funeral Home / Night Warning / Quiet Cool / Who Can Kill a Child? / Alone in the Dark / Last Cannibal World / Unhinged / Gymkata / The Witch who Came from the Sea / Rad / Future Kill / Hunter's Blood / The Changeling / Devil Times Five / The Pit / The New Kids / Phantasm / The Zero Boys / Moving Violations / Let's Scare Jessica to Death / The House That Screamed / Eyes of Fire / Mausoleum / The Devils Nightmare / Karate Warriors / The Farmer

I've seen a lot of Larry Cohen and Lustig's work, but Uncle Sam did nothing for me, it's about on par with It's Alive to me, a real dud, but just this man's opinion.
