My order of Prince of Darkness, The Howling, Darkman, and The Funhouse arrived today. All came with slips except for The Funhouse so that was a pretty good surprise considering these have been out for awhile. The blus were in three separate packages and just put in a padded envelope so the corners on a few of the slips were a bit dinged but overall I am happy with my first Family Video order and plan to order more soon.

Elysium
After Earth

$3.99 each (3 for $12). Not a bad deal at all

Stopped by another store in my area that was having a 2/$7 of the 4.99 Blurays. Got Dark Skies and Bully.

I can't wait to get home from vacation so I will stop having these stores around me to go crazy at, lol.

They both were temporary printed signs (on plain paper). I think the 2/$7 was just this weekend as they claimed to be having a movie sale. Not sure about the other store.

Oh okay, ya mine has had a couple of random sales before too, it seems like every store is different sales wise.

Just placed another order for a bunch more Scream Factory titles. Right before confirming my order I realized I should split it up into two separate orders and use the TMNTLOVE discount code two times since my total was just over $100. Saved an extra $5!

This time I ordered Sleepaway Camp, Saturn 3, Lifeforce, Swamp Thing, Q the Winged Serpent, Pumpkin Head, and Maniac Cop. Even with tax and shipping it still turned out to be cheaper than Amazon.

Hoping I have good luck getting some slips as well. My last order of four Scream titles from here had slips for 3 of the discs. I figure Family Video doesn't move as much stock as Amazon so the chances of getting a slip are a little bit more increased.

It should also be noted that online they don't always sell all titles on Blu-ray used. An example would be Pitch Perfect. They sell the DVD used, but not the Blu-ray.

yep, some of the titles they offer online are in very limited quantity (for example, most of the 3D releases), and the online offerings are somewhat limited to the A movers and the titles that probably got sent back to a main branch due to wasting too much shelf space (ie, Seeking Justice, Twilight part 17, and Steven Dorff DTV fare).

I have seen the Lego Movie on sale in the store for $9.99. Don't think it's the 3D version though if anyone is interested.

One of the stores near me always has a 2 for $5 blu-ray bin. Most of the time its 30 copies of After Earth with half of them having printed off cover art. Ever once in a while I can find some really good stuff though, like today. I got The Wolverine 3D disc, The Wolverine 2D Extended Cut disc, Fruitvale Station, and John Carter 3D with the slip and both the 3D and 2D discs for $10. I almost got Fast and Furious 6 and Machete Kills but put them back.
