I purchased the complete set yesterday afternoon at my local target. I quickly went home and put raiders of the lost arc on to view and I was blown away at how good the movie looked! After the movie ended I watched temple of doom with a huge smile on my face very happy with this purchase and the movies will definitely be viewed multiple times.
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass...and I'm all out of bubblegum.

I went by my local Target yesterday and they received none of these MetalPaks. I really wanted the Indy films, but I have the complete set so it's not a huge loss.

I own the boxset and that MetalPak looks great, but one rule I have when it comes to Blu-ray purchasing: I can only upgrade my existing version if there is an improvement in PQ and/or AQ.

But there is an improvement to the PQ of the cover art.

I think I paid about $40 for it from JB Hi-Fi when it was on sale a couple of months ago. It's very nice. Keep an eye out on it on there.

I don't know if it's worth it to me to rebuy it now that I already have the US one, but...hmm. I guess it would probably be easy to sell the one I have for $25. I dunno. We'll see.

Seconded. But for me it's only PQ, or the new release is a director's cut, an extended version, or the uncensored version (usually of a legacy VHS or DVD release). AQ, different packaging, and extras do not prompt a double-dip.

The Target Bonus Disk for Indy 4...
Did it contain anything regarding the first 3 films?

Was jut looking at my disc in my box set and notice some of the discs have markings/scratches on them. Is it from the type of packaging? Should it affect playback? I am kind of anal with my movie collection.

Shouldn't be a problem, BDs are very resilient - but you've got 'em, so play 'em and see. This question has come up before. Some folks hate the packaging and are convinced it's bad for discs; others, such as myself, have had no problem. No one but you knows how carefully you've handled the discs whilst extracting them. Obviously, those of us who like the packaging have seen no problems - but, some are so unhappy that they've put the discs in standard Amaray cases and printed up custom-designed paper inserts.

Most marks on BDs come off easily, in my experience. Try rubbing them with something soft, like a clean t-shirt.

I hate this shitty packaging. A disc should be a hub. Period. End of story. I ordered the Australian release which has a fold out digipack. Much nicer packaging.

The film cell is no longer included, by the way.
